vacation rental description
This 900 sq ft Luxury Apartment is part of a renovated 1920's Residential Enclave covering nearly an acre of lush tropical gardens and patio courtyards. Its large picture windows and French doors overlook the exotic landscape -- transporting guests to what feels like a far away island resort. The comfortable Living Room opens out to a sunny Terrace with teak dining table and grill -- a great place to take morning coffe or enjoy an evening sunset. The fully appointed Kitchen includes dishwasher, microwave, gas range, cooking utensils and serving ware, and stackable washer/dryer. The Master Bedroom has a queen sized bed with down comforter and TV while the auxiliary bedroom/den has a full sized bed. Set among towering king palms, lush foliage, and visting birds, this sprawling gated enclave provides numerous areas for quiet relaxation yet is located just blocks from fine museums, restaurants, award winning theaters, and the San Diego Zoo. Constructed in 1926 and restored in 2004 this duplex residence was recently featured in San Diego's Save Our Heritage Organization's Tour of historic homes and gardens. While centrally located near popular Hillcrest and Downtown, this special property provides an Oasis of tranquility in the heart of the City.
