Zen Retreat in San Diego

Brand new remodel just completed. Enjoy the feeling of a cozy Zen Retreat on lovely Mt Helix in San Diego county. 

Mt. Helix is a short 20 minutes from the San Diego downtown area, and only 25 minutes straight down the 8 Freeway to Mission Beach.

This is a one bedroom. one bath, with exclusive use to a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and eating area. You also have shared use of a laundry room, and the front garden. 

 *Note: Please realize this unit will only occupy two people. (I have been getting a lot of requests for 3 or more people to occupy, there is only one full size bed, and it is not set up for small children. Due to the number of requests, I will not be able to reply to those requests) Please see amenity info below.

Full size bed, loveseat, Cable TV, towel warmer.  Fully outfitted with starter sundries.  You have exclusive use to a full kitchen with all the dishes, utensils, pot & pans, Cuisinart Grind & Brew coffee maker, Expresso & cappuccino maker. Small patio with BBQ.  You also have shared access to a full laundry room, you must provide your own laundry detergent.

Fresh organic coffee beans in the fridge, distilled water for coffee maker.  Use of boogie board and ice chest upon request. It's the small details that sets us apart! Come and experience for yourself.

Several popular restaurants, and a convenience store, are located within walking distance. Trolley station a mile away.  Within a twenty minute drive you can reach San Diego Zoo, Balboa Park museums, Sea World, and Padre stadium in down town.  The Charger stadium is only 15 minutes away.  Los Angeles, Disney Land, and other theme parks are less than two hours drive. Three full casinos are within a 30 minute drive. Mission Trails Park for hiking and Cowels Mountain are about ten minutes drive.  However right at the top of Mt Helix allows you a 360 degree view around San Diego county. Sit and have a picnic or meditate in the open air stadium built in the early 1900s. The area has been felt as an energy vortex for those who are sensitive.

Three night minimum stay required to receive off peak prices or special deals, otherwise the maximum rate applies for one or two night stays. Rates are higher during peak season and certain holidays. (enquire with owner)

*Restrictions on Deals: Only one promotional deal can be applied per reservation. Free night's stay is given with a reservation of six or more paid nights when a "free night deal" is being run.  Both parties must be over 21 years of age with proof of picture IDs. Romantic Package deals includes a $30 gift certificate for dinner at Anthony's Fish Grotto, a chilled bottle of sparkling wine, and a gift certificate for a 1 lb box of See's chocolates. Upon request we will make your dinner reservation (subject to restaurant availability). We will also purchase box of chocolates to have available upon arrival if requested. Non alcoholic sparkling cider may be substituted, please advise at time of reservation.

Fully refundable $300.00 Security/Damage deposit required for weekly and nightly stays. $35.00 non-refundable cleaning fee.

Fully refundable $1000.00 Security/Damage deposit required for monthly and corporate rental. $100.00 non-refundable cleaning fee for stays more than a month. Monthly rental rs not available for June & July.
